The successful candidate will support the Corporate Affairs team in its public affairs and
public policy work. Key responsibilities will include:
• monitoring relevant external developments – particularly in Parliament, government and
at the financial services regulators – and disseminating these to the team and other UK
Finance colleagues;
• providing written and verbal analysis and summaries of policy, regulatory and legislative
measures;
• supporting the team’s development of policy positions, including through close
coordination with other teams and UK Finance’s members;
• assisting with the drafting of policy papers, including consultation responses; and
• supporting and organising high-quality member and stakeholder meetings, including
through preparation of appropriate briefing materials and meeting notes.
