Job Title: Events, Engagement and Administration Officer

Job Details

This is a busy job, in which you will be the first point of contact for the District Councils' Network, providing timely and effective communication with our membership and partners.

You will lead on the coordination of events, including identifying venues, managing logistics, overseeing delegate attendance and developing event programmes. You will ensure the smooth running of our regular engagement meetings, provide professional business and administrative support to senior DCN figures and help build and maintain political and officer networks. You will also assist with the management of DCN’s finances.

We’re looking for an ambitious, well-organised and highly motivated individual with a track record showing they can work both collaboratively and through using their own initiative to overcome an array of challenges. You will be good at balancing competing priorities.

You are highly likely to have had experience organising events and of the administration of an office or organisation.

You’ll have excellent oral and written skills and a track record of working collaboratively with a wide range of figures. You will have excellent IT skills, including in relation to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
