Apollo Strategic Communications, a rapidly expanding international communications agency, is looking for an account executive, with focus on public policy, to work across its growing number of high-profile accounts.

This is an opportunity to work with an elite client list that includes international foundations, think-tanks, and national governments. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in public policy and some, entry-level, experience working in journalism, or a policy-focused communications role, such as with an MP or think-tank.

Account Executive (c.£28,000 per annum)

The ideal candidate will have:

· A keen interest in current affairs, with some experience working in a public policy or journalistic setting (such as an internship or junior role with an MP, think-tank, PR agency or newspaper)
· Impressive writing skills, and the energy, flexibility, and tenacity to take on responsibilities.
· Experience drafting press releases and broadcast notes across public policy issues.
· The interpersonal skills to work well as part of our team, win the confidence of clients and to pitch effectively to journalists.

The successful candidate will have the freedom to work from home or with colleagues in one of our offices. They will be expected to attend meetings and team-working sessions, in central London, on occasion. 

Due to the nature of media deadlines, some work outside of normal office hours will also be required.
