To expand our sustainability activities, we have several roles available, including a Researcher role suitable for a graduate passionate about tackling important environmental issues and climate change.
Areas of expertise and interests include; product and business carbon footprinting, business energy & resource efficiency auditing, building energy management systems, resource efficiency, carbon reporting, energy analytics, renewable energy, carbon management, environmental programme management.
We are seeking a short-term research consultant to undertake this research project. We anticipate the project will last six months but with the potential for a successful candidate to join our broader research team downstream.
Job Description:
• Day to day undertaking of a research project to inform an understanding environmental issues and business support needs
• Undertake survey research and analysis to inform the future delivery of the GC Services
• Research of key stakeholders to be engaged in the research process – identifying the right people to be involved and the building of a database of future key contacts
• Arrangement of events and or calls for more in-depth research as required
Skills/Competencies Required:
• Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake tailored research including the undertaking of surveys and other forms of research application
• An ability to analyse data
• An ability to produce written reports to inform future planning by the GC and associated companies
