Job Details

Florence is looking for a dedicated Part-time caseworker to join her busy Constituency team in Vauxhall. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated with a keen interest in Politics. 
 
Job description:
  • Gather relevant information to assist with resolving cases
  • Log all cases; monitor progress and ensure all identified actions are taken
  • Draft responses to constituents
  • Assist surgeries and other meetings and follow up as appropriate
  • Respond to enquiries by telephone, e mail and social media, passing on queries to another team members/MP as appropriate
  • Exposure to complex cases
  • Ensure records are kept and information managed confidentially in line with the data protection legislation
  • Ensure that each case is dealt with promptly, sensitively, confidentially and accurately in accordance with the MP
  • Engage professionally, confidentially and with care and integrity with members of the public

Upon appointment you will be required to comply with the Baseline Personnel Security Standard, undertaken by the Members’ Staff Verification Office (MSVO). See Members’ Staff Verification Office (MSVO) page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.

Interview/Start Dates

Interviews will be held on 5th and 6th October.

The position will start from 17th October.
