Good Things Foundation is the UK’s leading digital and social inclusion charity. Our mission is a world where everyone can benefit from digital. Through our Online Centres Network of hyperlocal partners, we are supporting people and communities to overcome some of the most pressing social challenges they are facing through digital.

You will provide flexible support for the Research and Evaluation Function at Good Things Foundation to support us to better understand the difference we are making both to individuals and community partners.

You will play an important role in supporting both the Director of Evidence and Engagement, Head of Research and Data Insights and the Research and Evaluation Manager by undertaking a wide variety of research related activities to help us maintain our position at the forefront of evidence and understanding on digital inclusion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Desk research to identify the available evidence and understanding on a certain issue or topic
• Coordination and organisation of qualitative interviews
• Conducting interviews
• Taking notes of interviews, workshops and discussions and summarising them for others
• Production of charts and presentations against a specific brief
• Keeping track of key relationships, booking meetings and taking notes of meetings where required

You will be supported to build your skills across all of these areas and will not be expected to be proficient in all these areas from day one. There is plenty to do, but you will be supported throughout to build your knowledge and capabilities. In time you will identify areas of specialism and you will be supported to explore these in greater detail.
