George Freeman, MP for Mid Norfolk, is seeking an Employed Intern to come in on a part time or full time basis for 1-3 months to help in his constituency office. Working alongside 3 staff in a highly effective constituency operation, this individual would be focussed on:

- Tidying up, improving and expanding existing contact lists.
- Assisting the team with social media strategy, research and posting
- General office admin and systems
- Constituency bulletins and updates

Applicants could come from a wide variety of backgrounds – whether a current student, recent graduate or someone just looking to try something different or for an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a busy MP’s office.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

- Exceptional written, oral & digital communication skills
- Proven ability to work successfully and happily in a team and at times solo
- Highly organised manner with the ability to manage and prioritise a large and diverse workload
- The ability to work to tight deadlines calmly and while under pressure
- Personal initiative, commitment and a strong, proactive work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Adept at using Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel), social media platforms and digital comms
