About the role
Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, the Head of Communications role will design and oversee impactful communications and media strategies which raise the profile of Good Law Project and the issues we campaign on with decision makers and the wider public. Leading a team of communications professionals, the Head of Communications is responsible for assessing strategic risks and opportunities, maintaining key relationships with journalists and other stakeholders, establishing best practice and shaping Good Law Project’s brand and visual identity.
Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to start by 2 December 2022 in order to provide them with a reasonable handover with the current incumbent.

Salary: £58,300 per annum (pro rata for part time) with generous benefits including enhanced pension contribution, 25 days annual holidays plus public holidays.

Hours: 35 per week over 5 days Monday to Friday.

Contract type: 6-12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover)
This is a full time role however we would be willing to consider flexible options.

Location: Working primarily from our office in central London (subject to any COVID-19 restrictions) with options for some flexibility to work from home.
