Job Highlight:
You will be responsible for programme coordination, events, engagement and the administration of Food Action Now, which brings together seven different organisations – the Food and Land Use Coalition, the Just Rural Transition, the UN High Level Champions, Chatham House, the Global Panel on Agriculture, Food Systems, and Nutrition, the Food Forward Consortium, and ClimateWorks – supporting the Programme Manager and the initiative to deliver strong programme coordination, engagement, and events.
You will report to Food Action Now’s Programme Manager.
This position will be hybrid and based in WRI’s London office.
What you will do:
Programme coordination (40%)
Support Programme Manager with meeting project goals and targets
Narrative reporting
Support setting up MEL framework
Information management and coordination
Engagement (30% time)
Meetings with state and non-state partners
Note-taking from meetings
Produce written notes or reports from meetings
Networking with partners
Events (20% time)
Organizing events at COP and other international meetings
Organize webinars
Schedule events and meetings
Administration (10% time)
Data management
Budget administration
What you will need:
Education: You have completed a Master’s degree in a relevant field. Two years of additional relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Experience: You have 1 year or more of full-time relevant work experience, including experience in:
Coordinating events or meetings
Scheduling meetings with multiple attendees
Producing written reports or notes
Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position is based. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization.
