                    UK Youth for Nature is recruiting for a Head of Campaigning and a Head of Communications. Please note that these are *separate* roles and you should apply for one of them, or if you are applynig for both please submit separate applications.
Head of Campaigning
Time commitment
October 2022 onwards, for a minimum of 12 months
1 days (8 hours) per week
Remuneration
£200 per day
Responsibilities
Work with the Co-Directors to coordinate all campaigns
Help to design a campaign strategy that will ensure UK Youth for Nature has political impact for nature and wildlife through creative campaigning
Develop and deliver the campaigns that UK Youth for Nature plans
Develop a plan for each campaign, including objectives, targets, tactics, and communications resources
Manage the recruitment and work of graphic designers, local campaigners,and campaign consultants.
Support and work with any volunteers involved in UK Youth for Nature’s campaigns
Keep up to date with our policy and campaigning areas, highlighting and communicating campaigning opportunities to the wider organising team and volunteers
Experience:
Public affairs and targeted campaigning towards politicians
Mapping out political campaigns
We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates from minority backgrounds.

Responsibilities
Manage members of the Communications Team
Lead on social media planning and strategy
Ensure the website content is up to date
Work with the volunteer partnerships coordinator to map inbound lead
Work with Directors and network coordinator to develop and maintain relationships with the network and organising team
Work with Directors and relevant team members to produce 2-3 monthly newsletters
Recruit and manage communications consultants and graphic designers
Coordinate regular blog posts
Internal communication
Work with Directors and Head of Campaigns to keep Slack functioning efficiently
Work with the wider Organising Team and ensure that the UKY4N network is aware of and can use campaigning assets
External communication
Lead on all external communication. This includes:
Leading on social media planning and strategy
Ensure the website content is up to date
