BSG Conservatives are an established, successful Federation of six constituencies comprising; all Bristol and two South Gloucestershire constituencies. BSG is the largest Federation and a model for others to emulate. It comprises a unique blend of opportunities for an ambitious, experienced Senior Campaign Manager or party professional.

These opportunities include a critical role within the Party, leading a team of professional campaign and support staff, working with two Members of Parliament, PCCs, Conservative Councillors, active Federation Officers and a growing membership base.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the professional, successful and effective campaign operation of the Federation including; political campaigning, membership recruitment and retention, and fundraising. These roles will be actively supported by our teams of Officers and other volunteers across the BSG area.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

The ability to inspire the respect and confidence of the Party in the BSG area. Be proficient in IT and in particular in the use of VoteSource. Extensive experience of fighting local and General election campaigns. Ability to innovate and improve on fundraising, membership and income generation. A good understanding of legal and electoral requirements upon political parties. Skill in motivating volunteers to campaign or perform other Federation tasks.

You would be based at our offices, located in Clifton, Bristol (although we may be seeking to move soon). From here you would manage a team of volunteers, a Campaign Organiser, support staff; whilst working with Federation/Constituency Officers. You will of course be required to frequently operate across the BSG area, including at weekends and irregular hours.

Successful applicants will be invited to interview in November/December and will be requested to give a 15 minute presentation on: ‘How would you address the challenges facing BSG Conservatives in 2023 and beyond?’
