Warrington Labour Group are seeking a highly motivated, well-organised and experienced
campaign organiser and communicator to fulfil the campaigning requirements for Warrington as
we gear up for the next General and Local Elections. The role of Campaign & Comms Organiser
will be to

  • support the campaigning, organising and mobilisation efforts of Warrington;
  • support the delivery of campaigning and training content and ensure all comms are accessible, up to date andexciting.

Both Warrington North and South are marginal seats and this role will really make a difference to the outcome on General Election night.

Promoting the achievements of the Labour led council administration and the Labour Party
amongst local voters and residents in the borough will be the priority focus of the Campaign &
Comms Organiser working alongside local Labour Party members, CLP officers, the newly forming
Local Government Committee, and the Labour Parliamentary Candidates and their agents. The
role of the Campaign & Comms Organiser will act as the focus for communicating positively the
work the Labour Group is doing, developing policy, gathering information and working with
Cabinet and Councillors to ensure good news and best practice is being shared.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced organiser, skilled in a variety of campaign, social change and social movement building techniques to work with a dynamic Labour Council leader and Group, in collaboration with local members so that Labour in Warrington builds an authentic people powered and community based support base to initiate positive social change for local residents.

It is likely much of this work will be in the evenings and weekends.

A driving licence and a car or way to get yourself and resources around town would be desirable
