To take the lead and provide the Welsh Conservative Group of the Welsh Parliament with high quality research, analysis and briefing on a wide range of topics. The Senior Researcher will also support other Group Researchers in meeting this aim.

• Take individual responsibility for providing timely, good quality research and information on a wide range of topics, utilising a wide variety of research tools
• Provide briefings and information to assist the Welsh Conservative Group in helping to inform debates
• Develop and maintain knowledge of agreed subject areas so that you are able to anticipate and meet the information needs of the Welsh Conservative Group
• Co-ordinate the Group's response to legislative proposals; including the preparation of relevant briefing material and the tabling of amendments
