Working For: Young Camden Foundation

Location: London

Salary: £30-34,000 p.a. (dependent on experience)

Length of Contract: Permanent

Job Details

With our new CEO, Daisy Srblin, recently in post, a strong and established board chaired by Fiona Millar, and our new strategy launched, this is an exciting time to join Young Camden Foundation.

Young Camden Foundation was established in 2017, a proud member of the national Young People’s Foundation Trust, and are supported by a number of important stakeholders, including the John Lyons’ Charity and Camden Council. We work on behalf of our 100+ Camden members, who serve thousands of young people across our borough.

Strong partnerships are at the heart of our work at YCF. Working closely with the CEO, you will ensure YCF’s partnerships (between corporate neighbours, members, YCF funders, and other strategic stakeholders) are as strong as they can be, going above and beyond to identify new opportunities for YCF and its members. Together with the rest of the team, you will be an ambassador for the organisation.

You will also lead on YCF’s small grants programme, organising and improving the grants process, communicating decisions, keeping donors in the loop, and communicating the impact of the small grants programmes. You will also manage the Operations Administration Apprentice in this role. Together with the rest of the team, you will be a key player in a busy, friendly working environment, seeking opportunities for YCF to maximise its impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing and developing partnership opportunities for YCF, with a specific focus on corporate engagement, to identify new sources of funding (and support in-kind) for YCF and for member organisations
  • Managing and delivering the small grants portfolio for YCF – including managing the review, distribution and monitoring of the YCF grants programme
  • To work with the CEO to explore the relevance of consortia approaches for YCF, and to assist with fundraising bids and research activities
  • Managing the Operations Administration Apprentice, to support YCF’s administration, grants and operations processes, invoicing and finance, member support and database management

Closing Date: 27 November 2022
