Job Title: Campaigns Manager

Job Details

Key responsibilities:

• Work with the Head of Advocacy and Campaigns to design, develop and deliver campaigns, which improve social mobility and increase access to the professions
• Day-to-day management of campaign execution with the support of a campaign officer and a research and policy officer as part of our matrix management structure
• Ensure campaign measurement and evaluation is kept up to date, ensuring we’re always tracking against outcomes
• Support the delivery and launch of the annual Social Mobility Employer Index Key Findings Report
• Manage partnership work with employers and funders, including event design and delivery
• Be a flag bearer for a culture of creativity, curiosity, ambition, and kindness within the team and across the organisation

Essential skills and experience:

• Several years working in a campaigns team, an adjacent role or in an agency
• Comfortable developing campaign strategies, messaging, and tactics across all channels including media, social media and public affairs
• Ability to work with the Head of Advocacy and Campaign and the Research Manager to shape research to unlock insights for campaigns, political influencing, and media interventions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Strong media relations experience
• Good understanding of social media and how to utilise to drive campaign aims
• Experience influencing government policy
• Excellent attention to detail and a desire to always improve
• Strong copywriting ability
• An interest in public policy
• Excellent project management skills

Desirable skills and experience:
• Experience working with young people, particularly supporting them with media interviews
• Experience commissioning and managing agencies and freelancers
• Experience of line management and or coaching junior colleagues
• Experience in WordPress
• Trained in paid social media
