Flexible location - hybrid working with 2 days minimum in London SW1 office

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to ensure the views of the UK public are at the heart of the restoration and renewal of their historic and iconic Parliament building.

Reporting to the External Affairs Manager, you will help design, deliver, evaluate, and communicate public engagement and stakeholder engagement activities. You will need to draw on audience insight and work collaboratively with external partners and stakeholders to ensure that engagement activity effectively reaches those targeted.

You will also help to collate, analyse and interpret feedback gathered during engagement activity, so that it can be communicated within the Programme and more widely, to ensure the views of the public inform the restoration project and decisions at every stage.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering creative public and stakeholder engagement activities with a range of audiences, both on- and off-line. Confident yet empathetic, you will have excellent relationship building, influencing and communication skills. Equally, you will have clear organisational and project management skills, with the ability to drive forward and deliver activities to deadlines and budgets, working collaboratively with others. You will demonstrate good knowledge of public and stakeholder engagement best practice and of statutory requirements including data protection and safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
