Our Senior Policy & Campaigns Officer will play a crucial part in developing, delivering and driving forwards The Brain Tumour Charity’s policy and campaigning activities—leading on key policy areas and working with decision makers and campaigners to influence change for our wonderful community.

In this role, you will develop evidence-based positions and recommendations, build strong relationships with key external stakeholders and identify campaign issues where we can make a difference to help improve or extend the lives of those affected by brain tumours.

What we'd like from you:
You’ll enjoy initiating and leading new projects that will help deliver the strategic objectives of The Charity and make the biggest difference for those affected. You’ll have a flexible approach, and a keen interest in monitoring policy and political developments to identify and react to opportunities.

You’ll be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to help build relationships with a range of audiences including patients, politicians and researchers. You will also be able to quickly familiarise yourself with the political landscapes and health structures across all four Devolved Nations to identify where these networks will be most effective.

Benchmarked salary c.£37,000 (dependent on level)
