The Labour Party is recruiting a number of Digital Trainees across the country to take part in Labour’s first Digital Trainee Scheme.

Digital Trainees will be embedded at the forefront of our local campaigns, in every Region and Nation, and ensure that Labour delivers modern, effective campaigns at every level.

You don’t have to be a digital specialist to be a Digital Trainee – Labour’s bespoke programme will equip you with the skills you need. Successful candidates will need to show they have the aptitude for using social media and digital tools to communicate, show they are brilliant communicators, champions for the use of digital and technology and have a good understanding of political campaigns.

Digital Trainees will benefit from a comprehensive programme of online and residential training, as well frontline experience gained from working on elections, by-elections and local campaigns. Eligible Digital Trainees will also be enrolled to achieve a professional Digital Marketing qualification.

Alongside your training programme, you will be able to apply the skills you learn in campaigns in key target seats. You will be delivering the digital campaign strategy, and upskilling other staff, volunteers and candidates to do the same.

Once you have gained the skills through the Digital Trainee Scheme, you will be able to lead digital campaigns in target seats in your area ahead of the next General Election.
