Job Details

Home working with some travel

We are RNID: the national charity supporting the 12 million people in the UK who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. Together, we will end the discrimination faced by our communities, help people hear better now and fund world-class research to restore hearing and silence tinnitus. We work with our communities and partners across industry, government, charity, education and more to change life for the better.

This is no ordinary research and policy job. We want you to promote and encourage the use of data and insight across the organisation. You will lead our work to understand the needs and challenges of our communities, to combine these insights with trends in society, politics, technology and business to find solutions, and influence across sectors to put our ideas into practice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for using research and insight to drive change.

This is a fantastic role that works meaningfully across our matrix structure. You will lead a talented team of research, technology, policy and campaign experts. The perfect candidate will have broad in-depth experience of drawing on multiple sources of data to generate user or customer insights, following trends and of shaping policy, markets or services. You will be naturally curious with a knack for making connections. You’ll work with industry, charities and governments alike. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be great at building and sustaining relationships, and have experience of developing teams to achieve even greater success. You may have come from a market research, consultancy or in-house background, with non-profit or corporate experience: what’s most important to us is your passion to change society for the better.
