Job Details
Jack Lopresti, Member of Parliament for Filton and Bradley Stoke, is looking for a Senior Communications Officer to join his busy constituency office.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties, amongst others:
- Design and develop engaging, targeted content and messages across a range of channels
- Establish and build appropriate strategies around social media and online presence in the constituency, including producing online graphics and video content
- Evaluate the impact of external communications activity
About You
The ideal candidate will be energetic, organised, and willing to take the initiative to deliver on key objectives for the Office.
Candidates should be sympathetic to the values and aims of the Conservative Party.
Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.

Interview/Start Dates
Interviews will be held on a rolling basis. A candidate may be appointed before the close date.
Candidates will be required to undertake a written task as part of the application.
The successful candidate will ideally begin as soon as possible.
