The Women’s Equality Party (WEP) exists to force political change. We do this by contesting elections and campaigning creatively to push women’s equality to the top of the agenda of the mainstream parties.
Our policies are radical and ambitious, and our team is small but mighty. The political turbulence of the day offers unparalleled opportunities to influence discourse, politics and economics for the better, to offer up ideas for the taking, and to make profound and lasting change happen.
The Campaigns Officer will support the party’s grassroots activists and candidates to mobilise, increase their influence and deliver innovative campaigns. In this role you will be instrumental in growing the power of our local teams, and transforming our ability to shape the political agenda. We are looking for a self-starter who cares passionately about social justice and ensuring that women’s voices are heard in politics.
We are an intersectional feminist organisation and for us that means both our goals, and our approach to achieving them, have to be informed by an understanding of the different ways that inequalities manifest for women. We strive for this by constantly challenging ourselves, and by working to make our movement and campaigns as diverse and inclusive as possible.
We stand against all forms of discrimination. We are committed to being an anti-racist, LGBT+ inclusive organisation and believe in a social model of disability. We particularly encourage applications from Disabled people and Global Ethnic Majority people, who are underrepresented at this level.
Closing Date: 24 April 2023

Interviews will be held in-person on May 12th, and will include a task.
