BICOM (Britain-Israel Communications and Research Centre) is a communications and research organisation that acts to promote a greater understanding of Israel and the Middle East in the UK. BICOM is recruiting a new Communications Associate to manage all BICOM output and publications, as well as maintain external relations with BICOM’s key partners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in building media strategies, combining both strong social media skill and working understanding of the British media scene. Some knowledge of Israel and UK Middle East foreign policy, as well as experience of engaging with media, government, is an advantage. Ideally, the candidate will support BICOM’s core value of improving understanding of Israel in the UK.

Whilst the position is remote, they will work in unison with London-based colleagues. The role is suited to someone with a proactive attitude, and the right candidate will be encouraged to expand both their own and BICOM’s network through organising and attending events in London and regularly meeting key stakeholders.
