Job Details
Grant Shapps MP is looking for a highly motivated and organised Constituency Assistant to support the work of the local office. Previous political experience is not necessary, though may be helpful. The applicant should have an understanding of spreadsheets and enthusiasm for handling data to achieve positive outcomes for constituents.
The role would be perfect for someone with knowledge of the area and who wants to make a real difference to the local community.
Duties will include:
- Handling casework and correspondence as required.
- Managing constituent database, logging all cases and monitoring progress.
- Supporting senior office staff on the progression of constituency projects to assist local people.
- General administrative tasks as required.

- Strong organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a sensitive and confidential manner at all times.
- Sympathetic to the aims and values of the Conservative Party.
