Job description

This internship is aimed at those hoping to begin their careers in political PR. We are a small, close-knit team that that will nurture your development and provide the support that you need. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in politics, who is willing and able to get stuck in with some campaign work, helping to deliver more housing across the country.

Our team is made up current and former politicians and political campaigners, and we deliver campaigns for our clients who are chiefly in the property and development sector. A large part of what we do is to work with and alongside communities in order to deliver new housing, as well as retail and commercial development.

Key responsibilities

- Creating research reports

- Basic data-analysis

- Basic graphic design

- Attending events

- Speaking with elected members

If you don’t have experience doing one (or any) of the above – don’t worry. We don’t expect interns to have huge amounts of experience. We hire interns on their attitude, potential, and willingness to learn.

Criteria

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills (essential)

- Excellent computer literacy (essential)

- A basic understanding of local and national politics in the UK (essential)

- A knowledge of the planning system in England (desirable)

- Experience of political campaigning (desirable)

- Experience of graphic design (desirable)

Deadline to submit is 3pm Friday 26th May.

Start date: ASAP

NOTE: The successful candidate must be able to travel into the office daily. Our office is located a short walk from Kings Cross, Farringdon, and Chancery Lane stations.
