Job Title: Digital Programmes & Platform Manager

Job Details

Main duties

  • Oversee the delivery of the Access: University and Access: Apprenticeships programmes on Sutton Trust Online from start to finish, including the onboarding of students, development of content and delivery of events
  • Manage and build strong day to day relationships with external tech providers to ensure that we are getting the most out of the respective technologies
  • Manage associated data systems including user data and platform engagement data across STO and STA in the user database (Cognito) and CRM (Salesforce), ensuring this is accurately stored
  • Manage the creation and delivery of a communications and engagement plan working with the Senior Programmes Officer for Marketing and Communications to do so, to increase activation and engagement rates
  • Work with the Head of University Access and Digital and Data and Insights Manager to use data sets including engagement, demographic, survey and impact data to understand user behaviour and platform impact
  • Work with Head of University Access and Digital to develop ideas for new content and functionality for platform based on findings from data
  • Manage the technical developments of Sutton Trust Online and Sutton Trust Alumni platforms ensuring that projects with external tech providers run to time and within budge
  • Other Duties
  • Experience of successfully managing an interdependent project involving multiple staff and partners
  • Successfully managed relationships with external contractors or partners to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Programme management experience, ideally in access to higher education, apprenticeships or careers
  • Experience using technology and systems to deliver programmes
  • Strong understanding of, databases, data processes and experience using a CRM (ideally Salesforce)
  • Demonstrable analytical skills and experience of using data and insights to inform programme design and delivery
  • Is proactive and a strategic planner
  • High attention to detail and ability to understand systems logic
  • Ability to clearly explain complex ideas and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Is sympathetic to the aims of the Trust and its mission to address educational disadvantage;
  • Has first-class interpersonal skills - a natural ambassador able to represent the Sutton
