MIDAS, one of the UK's most successful inward investment agencies, is seeking an Account Management/Business Development Executive to work with existing international investors in Greater Manchester in order to identify further job-creating investment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking to appoint an Account Management Executive to join an existing Key Account Management (KAM) Team to support their work in meeting with C-Suite contacts at foreign owned companies with a presence in Greater Manchester (GM), with a view to assisting them and identifying growth plans which will lead to further job-creating investment that will benefit both the company and the economic growth of GM.

About You:

The successful applicant will aid the KAM Team in the delivery of MIDAS’ core services to existing investors in GM and assisting MIDAS to meet annual inward investment targets from the MIDAS business plan / Department for Business & Trade KAM programme.

Requirements: We are seeking a personable and professionally driven individual, who is: experienced within a sales and marketing or project co-ordination role

The role includes proactively engaging with new accounts to establish new relationships and, supported by the Head of Account Management, the project management of investment opportunities originating from account management, providing a bespoke service that meets all client needs, including research, stakeholder and network engagement, property solutions, business provision, facilitation with local government, etc., to a successful conclusion.

The role also includes management of enquiries and projects, desk-based research to support proposition development to identify new accounts, along with working with colleagues and partner organisations such as universities and Growth Company partners, to help in the development and delivery of existing and new services to clients that deliver value. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract.
