Our Mappers help Sociability engage with local communities, and our business partners. You’ll work with the team to collect data about the accessibility of local businesses by visiting local venues and shops in person to engage with local business owners and to collect data about the accessibility of these venues through the Sociability mobile app.

As you progress, you will become more involved in our work with our business partnerships as part of the Enterprise Accessibility data collection. In this function, you will collect data at the workplaces of some of the world’s most prestigious and influential businesses.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Interacting with local business owners and corporations on behalf of Sociability to raise awareness of the importance of disabled access and inclusion at work and associated best practice; Liaising with Sociability management to coordinate logistics of your mapping assignments and data collection; On-the-job training related to accessibility auditing, app feedback and user testing best practice.

We are looking for hard-working, motivated and enthusiastic candidates. Candidates should be confident and comfortable working in corporate business environments, and have a high level of presentation and professional discretion.

Candidates do not need to have any particular qualifications, but should be comfortable using a smartphone and using basic computer programs such as email and online messenger programs (e.g. Slack or WhatsApp). Candidates must also be able to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week.
