Beyond political expertise, we are generalists across corporate communications and reputation management, built on long-standing client relationships, straight-talking counsel and hands-on delivery.

Core Responsibilities
⁘ Leads operational running of client teams as senior delivery link with Directors and Partners; deputises for them as appropriate.
⁘ Builds trusted relationships with clients and external stakeholders, giving sound advice on political, regulatory and reputational issues.
⁘ Tracks current affairs and the political and business landscape, anticipating risks, spotting opportunities, and positioning teams for success.
⁘ Invests in developing direct reports and colleagues, coaching teams on effective delivery and senior stakeholder management.
⁘ Supports business growth: contributes to new business strategy, leads proposals, and networks to bring in new client leads.

Key Skills & Experience
⁘ Proven experience in public affairs or policy, gained in agencies, corporates, trade associations, government or political parties.
⁘ Strong knowledge of the political landscape and policy process, responding reactively to events while proactively spotting opportunities for clients.
⁘ Confidently juggles multiple clients and workstreams, structuring teams and timelines, delegating and prioritising to meet deadlines.
⁘ Understands and interrogates a brief, thinks strategically, solves problems, and delivers succinct advice and senior counsel.
⁘ A clear, confident communicator verbally and in writing, drafting content and executing multistakeholder communications strategies.
⁘ Excellent interpersonal and people-management skills, guiding junior colleagues to deliver high-quality work, independently and as a team.
⁘ Professional, flexible and proactive, and enjoys contributing to building Sanctuary as a business.
⁘ Able to convince clients, senior management and teams to adopt ideas and approaches.
