About Spacehive
Spacehive is a tech-for-good company on a mission to make it easy for people to improve their local area. Working in partnership with local authorities, our platform helps groups and individuals design and fund ideas that bring places to life, from phone boxes turned into community libraries and pop-up gardens, to street art and community solar. We have the highest success rate of any UK crowdfunding platform, and over £44 million has been raised on it. Our users, and their imaginative ideas, are the magic at the heart of our business.
About the role
We're looking for a Project Support Manager who's passionate about community empowerment and exceptional customer service. You'll be the first port of call for our project creators and their backers on our platform. We're proud that 98% of our user interactions are rated good or excellent, and this role is key to that.
What you'll do
- Offer expert crowdfunding advice (we'll brief you), helping people plan and run campaigns
- Communicate with users by email and phone, clearly and warmly
- Review and improve the support function and internal operations
- Maintain our Help Centre, creating guides and video tutorials
- Support the delivery of online workshops for project creators
- Investigate, resolve, escalate and report user issues
- Feed user insights to the product team and roadmap
About you
- An eager learner who'll quickly become a Spacehive crowdfunding expert
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: empathy, politeness and patience
- Able to turn user feedback into platform improvements
- Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation
- A confident yet humble team player who'll get stuck in
- Driven and proactive, working to exceed targets
We don't need years of experience, just a real passion for great service and empathy with our diverse users. The role is fully remote, 4 days a week; we don't require fixed days or have core working hours. We welcome applicants who require flexibility.
Spacehive is an anti-racist, anti-discriminatory organisation. We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people, people with disabilities, and people from lower income and diverse educational backgrounds who may be under-represented in our organisation.
Benefits: 21 days holiday, fully remote, workplace pension.
Closing Date: 4 September 2026
Interview/Start Dates
Start date: immediately / as soon as possible. We may interview and appoint before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.
