Job Title: Senior Research and Scrutiny Officer

Salary: £39,274 - £50,496 pro rata

Length of Contract: Permanent

Job Details

This is a part time role - 3 days a week.

Main duties:

• Conduct in-depth research on legislation, government policies and political trends.
• Draft Senedd questions, amendments, speeches and motions.
• Develop relationships with think tanks, government departments, charities, and advocacy groups.

Essential knowledge and experience:

• Substantial experience of delivering research or briefing in a parliamentary or similar environment.
• Experience of working directly with influential, high profile people in a busy environment.
