Role Overview
Join the National Coalition for Workplace Savings, a government-backed initiative designed to increase emergency savings among working-age adults across the UK. Working within a joint Secretariat including MaPS, TISA & the Centre for Inclusive Money at Nest, you will coordinate coalition activity, provide governance & secretariat support, & contribute to the development of savings policy.
Working with employers, policymakers, savings providers & other stakeholders, you will help drive engagement & support the growth of workplace savings schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate coalition activities & support delivery against agreed priorities.
Organise & support Steering Group & working-level meetings, including agendas, minutes & action tracking.
Maintain governance processes, project plans & delivery systems.
Monitor KPIs & progress, producing reports & annual updates for the Economic Secretary to the Treasury.
Provide effective secretariat support to policy steering groups.
Build & maintain relationships with government, industry & other key stakeholders to support coalition objectives.
Skills & Experience
Experience coordinating programmes, partnerships or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Strong project management skills, including planning, governance, risk management & delivery tracking.
Excellent stakeholder engagement & relationship-building abilities.
Strong written & verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports & meeting documentation.
Analytical skills & sound judgement, with the ability to interpret information & support policy development.
Ability to work effectively in ambiguity & manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
Knowledge of savings policy, financial wellbeing or consumer financial services.
Experience working with government departments, regulators or financial sector organisations.
Familiarity with KPI reporting, governance processes & senior stakeholder reporting.
