Length of Contract: 6-12 weeks

Job Details

The Good Growth Foundation is looking for a social media intern to join our team. This isn’t a ‘sit back and take notes’ internship: you’ll be at the heart of a fast-moving think tank, working on big ideas, high-profile events, and campaigns that influence decision-makers. You’ll drive our digital campaigning, spotting trends, coming up with creative ideas, and creating engaging content across different platforms.

About the Good Growth Foundation
We are a think tank on a mission to crack the politics of economic growth, unlocking solutions to deliver prosperity people can feel. We champion popular, practical and fair policies that drive sustained growth, raise living standards and create opportunity for all.
A thriving economy is the foundation of strong communities. That’s why we confront the toughest political challenges to build a future where growth is widely shared. Grounded in the public’s priorities, our research and campaigns aim to raise living standards and make a tangible impact on life across the UK.

What you’ll be doing
You'll be working closely with the Director of Comms to plan and produce engaging content across all of our platforms, helping us amplify our work and tap into trends to reach a wide audience.

We’re looking for someone who

  • Can spot opportunities and bring creative ideas to our digital campaigning
  • Is politically switched on and social-media savvy, and understands how to communicate our innovative research to political and public digital audiences.
  • Has great organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience in politics, campaigning, think tanks, or a fast-moving startup environment is a plus—but attitude and energy matter more than a perfect CV.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to shape the direction of a fast-growing, influential organisation, work on issues that matter, and see your ideas turn into reality.
