Richard Quigley MP is looking for an experienced corporate communications professional, or someone ready to take a step up, to help develop and deliver impactful communication campaigns across digital, media, and print. You’ll help shape Richard’s communications strategy and boost engagement across demographics using traditional and new media. You’ll bring leadership, sound judgement and a proven ability to deliver engaging content. You’ll also use your experience to coach existing staff and engage stakeholders.
This is a unique opportunity to support an active and engaged MP. We’re a small team so this role will involve strategic planning and hands-on delivery. You'll be involved in all areas of Richard’s work, with a particular focus on skills and community wealth building.
The post will be on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2027. The role is full time, based in Richard’s Westminster office with occasional travel to the constituency.
Person specification
• Corporate communications professional
• Proven track record of developing and delivering integrated communications strategies aligned to objectives
• Exceptional copywriting and communication skills
• Demonstrable videography skills
• Excellent judgement, political awareness, and attention to detail
• Experience providing expert communications advice/support to senior leaders
• Produces consistent, creative, and impactful content across all channels to engage and inform
Duties will include:
• Establishing and developing communication strategies
• Analysing metrics to improve future communications
• Producing high-quality graphics and video content
• Designing and developing engaging, targeted content across a range of channels
• Managing campaigns and projects
• Delivering proactive and re-active communications
• Supervising staff, including coaching
• Support the MP’s office and objectives by developing and delivering consistent corporate communications
