Name PR, one of the UK’s leading music business communication consultancies, is looking for an Account Executive / Manager for a unique role spanning B2B music PR and our sister organisation, FEAT – a non-profit campaigning for secure, promoter-authorised ticket resale across Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent writing skills and an interest in the business and policy side of music. You’ll work on major industry issues including AI, streaming, independent artists and ticket touting.
On the PR side, you’ll work with organisations across the music industry. Current and recent clients include AIM, Believe UK, Exceleration Music, IDOL, Mahogany, Proper Music Distribution and Sony Music UK.
For FEAT, you’ll support our work on ticket resale regulation, enforcement and best practice, including campaigning around the EU’s upcoming Digital Fairness Act.
Based in London, this full-time role sits within a small, dynamic team offering extensive training and opportunities to progress quickly and specialise in PR or policy work. Occasional travel and out-of-hours work may be required.
Responsibilities
- Support PR activity across multiple clients
- Write press releases, pitches, opinion pieces and social copy
- Support client communications, reporting and admin
- Monitor industry news and EU regulation
- Build relationships with journalists, policymakers and stakeholders
- Help manage FEAT communications, website, social media and events
Essential Requirements
- Ideally at least one year’s experience in PR, journalism or public affairs
- Strong interest in music, live events or ticketing
- Excellent writing, research and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a busy workload independently
- Strong communication skills and proactive, collaborative attitude
Desirable
- Knowledge of the live music business and/or EU politics
- Social media, WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp and Google Suite experience
