Time commitment: Start 12 Oct 2026, 12-month contract (incl. 8 weeks probation), strong likelihood of renewal. Part-time: 3 days (24 hrs)/week, flexible hours. Remote UK, occasional travel.

Remuneration: £35,190 (pro rata). 20 days annual leave plus Christmas/New Year office closure. 3% pension.

Responsibilities:

• Develop our campaign strategy for political impact on nature and wildlife
• Coordinate campaigns and partner engagement with co-directors
• Lead organising team meetings and campaigning partnerships, setting an example for volunteers and staff
• Make confident decisions, explaining reasoning to the team while managing volunteer expectations
• Build and maintain partner relationships across (and beyond) the environmental sector
• Develop clear campaign plans: objectives, targets, tactics, comms and resources
• Manage graphic designers, campaign coordinators, and external consultants
• Support volunteers to stay engaged and fulfilled in their journey
• Track and report campaign delivery against funder requirements
• Be a confident public voice on social media and with the press, including video and interviews
• Stay current on policy/campaigning areas and share opportunities with the team

Essential experience:

• Public affairs and targeted campaigning towards politicians
• Campaign strategy and design
• Good understanding of the environmental policy space
