We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join the Buckingham and Bletchley Constituency Office of Callum Anderson MP as a Constituency Assistant.
This is a fixed-term, part-time contract for five months working up to three days a week. We welcome applications from candidates who wish to work fewer than three days; please indicate your preferred working pattern in your application.
The post is based in our constituency office in Bletchley, with occasional remote administrative support for the MP’s Westminster office (no travel to London required).

Role Description
As the Constituency Assistant, you will provide administrative and organisational support to the constituency team and the MP’s Westminster office.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the organisation and record-keeping for surgeries and other constituency meetings
- Supporting the administrative management of local projects and campaigns
- Handling general office administration, including record keeping and data processing
- Providing additional support to the Constituency and Westminster teams, when required
- Handling standard queries from members of the public by phone, email, social media or face-to-face
- Supporting constituency casework by gathering relevant information and liaising with the team or external organisations to assist in the resolution of cases
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent written communication and organisational skills
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
- Strong time-management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively within a small team
- Experience of diary management and organising meetings and events
- Sympathy with the aims and values of the Labour Party
- A full driving licence would be advantageous but not essential to this role
