Policy Officer (Legal Sector) - Remote Working

Full Time - 35 hours per week

Do you have an understanding and sensitivity of the nuances of the political and regulatory landscape along with the ability to collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders?

Since 2018, CILEX has been driving a radical strategic plan transforming the standing of the CILEX professionals within the Legal sector. We have an exciting opportunity for a policy professional to contribute to that vision by ensuring CILEX has focused and properly road-tested policy solutions for issues affecting the education, practice and regulation of specialist Lawyers and paralegals, as well as tracking (and identifying the risks and opportunities of) regulatory and policy developments and disseminating to the wider CILEX community.

The roles build robust evidence bases for consultation responses on behalf of the organisation, manage desk-based research and analysis on policy developments, and they will write and edit engaging, informative and creative content for articles, papers, communications and presentations which articulate CILEX policy solutions.

To be successful, you may have experience in some / any of the following: Legal Officer, Policy Development, Legislation, Lobbying, Legal Policy Planning, Public Affairs.
