Are you motivated by turning evidence into real-world impact? Join AQA's Policy and Public Affairs team and help shape national conversations on qualifications, assessment and education reform. You'll develop policy positions, engage influential stakeholders and provide insight that supports strategic decision-making across AQA and the wider education sector.

• Develop and maintain evidence-based, relevant and responsive policy positions.
• Lead production of policy papers, consultation responses, briefings and thought leadership.
• Monitor political, regulatory and educational developments, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Build relationships with policymakers, regulators and sector stakeholders.
• Commission and manage research, surveys, polling and data analysis, informing policy recommendations.
• Translate complex evidence into clear, actionable insight for a range of audiences.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have experience:

• Working in policy, public affairs or regulatory environments with significant stakeholder engagement responsibilities.
• Building productive relationships with government, civil service, regulatory or employer stakeholders.
• Analysing complex information and developing clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Translating policy thinking into practical outcomes, partnerships or initiatives that deliver measurable change.
• Managing multiple projects and priorities, delivering high-quality outputs independently.
• Technical and vocational education policy knowledge.
