Sir Geoffrey Cox KC MP is looking to recruit a Chief of Staff to support his work on behalf of the constituents of Torridge and Tavistock. This full-time role is based in the constituency office in Tavistock and works closely with the parliamentary team, providing oversight across both offices.

The Chief of Staff has overall responsibility for the team's busy workload, making sure the MP is well supported in Parliament and by the team in the constituency. You will manage Sir Geoffrey's diary, help arrange local meetings and events, and engage with constituents. You will also support complex casework, build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, and keep the office running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is motivated, confident acting on their own initiative, comfortable leading the team and able to prioritise a busy workload, with good political judgement. Experience of working for an incumbent MP and knowledge of similar rural constituencies would be ideal. Applicants should be sympathetic to the values of the Conservative Party.
