Job Details

Anacta is a public affairs, political research and campaigns firm. We specialise in delivering outcomes for clients, often against a fast-moving political backdrop, using methods shaped on winning election campaigns. Our UK team supports some of the world's leading brands on their strategic public affairs activity.

You will lead a portfolio of clients, deliver high level advice, and be trusted to exercise judgement in fast-moving, politically sensitive situations. You will need to understand not only how Westminster and Whitehall work, but how to turn that understanding into strategies that deliver tangible results.

What you will do
• Lead public affairs accounts and act as a senior adviser to clients
• Develop political and public affairs strategies that help clients achieve clear outcomes
• Build and maintain relationships across Westminster, Whitehall and the wider political landscape
• Provide clients with clear political intelligence, analysis and advice
• Lead engagement with politicians, officials, advisers and other relevant stakeholders
• Manage, coach and develop colleagues across the team
• Identify opportunities for clients and anticipate risks
• Lead new business pitches and help grow existing client relationships
• Work closely with our research and campaigns colleagues to deliver integrated work
What you will bring
• Substantial public affairs, political or government relations experience
• A record of leading senior relationships and delivering work yourself, not only overseeing it
• Strong political judgement and a detailed working knowledge of UK politics and policymaking
• Experience developing and delivering public affairs or influencing strategies
• The confidence to advise senior clients, including when your advice is not what they want to hear
• Experience managing and developing colleagues
• Commercial instinct
What we offer
• The opportunity to play a senior role in a growing business
• Direct access to senior clients from the start
• The chance to work closely with our research and campaigns teams
• Colleagues in London, Australia and New Zealand, and work that crosses all three markets
• Competitive salary and benefits

Closing Date: 15 October 2026
