Responsibilities:
• To assist and support the PRI team with designing, drafting, and delivering policies;
• To provide critical analysis of publications relevant to the industry;
• To work with members and external stakeholders to deliver on the BGC’s data repository work;
• To support the administration of BGC working groups, as needed, including supporting with the delivery of materials associated with the agenda. This will include documenting the minutes of these meetings where resourcing requires;
• To support the Head of Research and Insights in preparing research and insights briefs, for dissemination to both internal and external stakeholders;
• To assist in the preparation of papers for the various BGC committees, such as Research and Data Committee, Online Committee and Casino Committee;
• To act as a liaison point between members and the PRI team where needed;
• To act as the representative for the BGC on external working groups, and report back on those groups to the Director of Policy for consideration and decision-making;
• To assist and, as directed, lead on creating policy delivery plans and ensuring their implementation;
• To work closely with members and support the co-ordination of members’ responses to industry projects as required;
• As required and directed, work with external consultants and legal counsel to support BGC policy and regulatory affairs work;
• To assist BGC as a champion of change to create a culture of safer gambling through policies;
