Job Title: Senior Influencing Manager

Working For: LEF (Justice Together)

Location: London

Salary: £56,650

Length of Contract: 18 months fixed term with the possibility of extension

Job Details

Justice Together was established in 2020 with a ten-year vision of an immigration system in which people can access justice fairly and equally, without being harmed. We are a unique collaboration of funders, organisations and people with lived experience working together to improve access to justice in the UK immigration system.

JT’s team of four is seconded from LEF, which hosts the initiative in its subsidiary, Justice Collaborations. The wider LEF team supports Justice Together with operations, communications and learning.

JT's ambition is to help create the conditions for a stronger and more sustainable immigration advice sector, while contributing to wider change in the immigration system and how people access justice.

The Senior Influencing Manager will play a leading role in shaping and delivering this work. This will include building strategic relationships, convening partners around shared priorities, identifying and responding to influencing opportunities, and ensuring that frontline evidence and lived experience inform our approach. They will particularly focus on developing Justice Together’s approach to supporting our regional advice partnerships to build their
influence.

The post-holder will manage a small portfolio of influencing grants and work with colleagues to support renewals. They will contribute to wider strategic and organisational decisions as a senior member of our small, collaborative team.

We are looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with the ability to turn ideas into action. They will have experience of developing and delivering effective influencing strategies, building relationships with a range of stakeholders, and managing people and projects. They will be comfortable taking ownership, exercising judgement and working collaboratively in an evolving environment. Previous experience of working for a funder or in grant making is not
required.
