Job Title: Senior Account Manager - Healthcare Communications

Working For: A client of Westminster Search

Location: London

Salary: Competitive

Length of Contract: Permanent

Job Details

Few subjects matter more to the public than their health. Few are harder to explain well.

If you can take a clinical study and turn it into a story that a national health editor wants to run, this role is for you.

Your New Employer

My client is a highly regarded public relations and public affairs agency with more than two decades of results behind it. Its consultants come from across the political spectrum. It advises ambitious start-ups, leading charities and multinational companies, at Westminster and beyond.

It is known for being straight-talking, quick and precise. Clients stay for years.

Your New Challenge

You will lead health media relations for a portfolio of healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. You will turn medical data and drug information into engaging, timely stories that editors want to run. Every story will be truthful, accurate and meet the regulatory expectations that govern health communications.

Your work will include:

  • Planning and delivering media campaigns for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients
  • Pitching stories and finding fresh angles for national and trade health media
  • Translating clinical data and drug information into clear, credible news
  • Advising clients on how media coverage can support their public affairs goals
  • Leading day-to-day client relationships and managing junior team members
  • Spotting opportunities in the policy and news agenda before others do

About You

You are a seasoned agency professional and a gifted storyteller. You can create a story from dense data and scientific literature, and make it relevant and accessible to any audience. You have a proven track record with the health media, both trade and national. You know what a health editor needs, when they need it and how to give it to them.

Closing Date: 23 October 2026

Interview/Start Dates

Interviews will be held on an on-going basis.
