Acuitas Communications is a strategic advisory firm, based in St James’s, focused on corporate, strategic and financial communications. We are now looking to appoint an accomplished new joiner at or around Account Manager level, subject to background and experience.

This will be an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate, likely to be ready to move to a second job in a fast-paced private sector setting, who will be expected to demonstrate exceptional levels of intellectual rigour, media awareness and understanding, and real commercial nous.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the client account team in the timely fulfilment of client delivery;
• Enjoy regular direct contact with clients at a very senior level;
• Prepare briefings for agency and client consumption;
• Support client and internal meetings;
• Provide effective and proactive support to colleagues in respect of new business-getting initiatives;
• Draft op-eds, press releases and media engagement plans;
• Produce daily media monitoring and weekly political monitoring reports; and
• Provide necessary administrative support and execution to the team.

Requirements

• 1-2.5 years’ experience working for an MP or in a corporate PR agency or in-house corporate environment;
• Proven analytical and research skills;
• Excellent written communication skills; and
• A strong commercial sense and an interest in a range of business sectors and issues.
