Transparency International UK works to end corruption in politics, business and public life. We expose how dirty money and undue influence shape decisions here, and how the UK and its offshore territories help hide corrupt wealth from abroad. We press government and parliament to fix the rules, and work with companies to raise their own standards.
We are looking for a Digital Communications Officer to make sure that work reaches the people who can act on it.
The role
You will produce and publish digital content across our website, social media and email channels, and deliver the digital side of our campaigns and report launches.
You will work with colleagues across our UK Programme, Business Integrity, Global Health and Defence & Security teams, turning detailed research into content that informs and engages, and track how well it lands.
Day to day you will:
maintain and publish to our website, LinkedIn, X, Instagram and YouTube, delivering an agreed channel plan, film, edit and publish video and audio content for different platforms
produce graphics and data visualisations using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
draft reactive content in response to breaking stories, within agreed sign-off protocols
deliver the digital element of our publication launches, from pre-launch through to sustained engagement produce supporter emails, maintain our mailing lists, and report on digital performance against our measurement framework
About you
You will have experience creating and scheduling content for organisational social media channels, producing and editing video from filming through to publication, managing website content through a CMS, and producing email communications through an email marketing platform. You will be comfortable using analytics to improve what you produce.
You will be an excellent writer, able to make technical subjects clear for different audiences, and a collaborative colleague who works well across teams. An interest in anti-corruption matters more here than prior experience of it.
Experience of paid social advertising, motion graphics, audio production or publication design in InDesign would be useful, as would experience in an advocacy or campaigning organisation.
This is a blended role, combining remote working with time at our London office. Some UK travel and occasional evening events may be required.
We encourage you to apply as soon as possible if you are interested in this role. Where we have high numbers of applications we can commence screening and progress with recruitment ahead of the advertised closing date.
