Arundel & South Downs and Chichester Conservative Associations are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Campaign Manager to coordinate campaigning ahead of the local elections expected in May 2027.
Working with officers from both Associations, you will develop and deliver campaign plans, strengthen volunteer engagement, improve digital communications and support councillors and candidates.
This is a varied, hands-on role requiring leadership, initiative and the ability to bring people together. Planning, communications and administration can be undertaken from home, but regular attendance across both constituencies will be essential to coordinate campaigns, support volunteers and work with local representatives. Some evening and weekend work will be required, particularly as the elections approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, coordinate and deliver campaign plans with Association officers.
* Recruit, organise and motivate volunteers, building a sustainable campaign network.
* Coordinate leaflets, letters, surveys and other campaign materials.
* Improve digital presence and deliver online communications.
* Organise canvassing, telephone canvassing, surveys and other voter contact.
*Coordinate campaign sessions and action days.
* Support candidates and councillors with communications and local campaigning.
* Maintain accurate campaign records and manage data effectively.
* Assist with election preparations, including election agent responsibilities.
About You
You will be motivated, resourceful and confident taking responsibility for delivering projects. You will ideally have:
* A strong interest in politics or community campaigning and commitment to Conservative Party aims and values.
* Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills.
* The ability to recruit, coordinate and motivate volunteers.
* Confidence using social media, digital communications and online tools.
* A proactive, flexible approach and strong attention to detail.
* Confidence managing data and administrative processes.
Experience in political campaigning, elections, communications, project management or volunteer coordination would be advantageous. We welcome applications from candidates with the right skills, enthusiasm and potential.
