Job Details
Turn your interest in international relations into practical policy experience. As our Sanctions Intern, you will help track how geopolitical events, diplomacy and national security priorities shape sanctions and export controls—and how those measures affect the banking and finance industry. Working closely with the Analyst and Principal for Sanctions, you will research fast-moving developments, engage with member firms, government officials and international specialists, and join meetings where policy and practice come together. You will also help financial institutions respond to sanctions-related queries and contribute to the team’s monitoring and analysis. This is a distinctive opportunity for a student or recent graduate who wants to explore a career at the intersection of international relations, geopolitics, economic security and financial services. You will gain first-hand insight into how policy is developed, communicated and implemented across the UK and the wider international community.
