Cambridge Liberal Democrats are looking for an enthusiastic intern to help in the campaigns office.

There will be the opportunity to learn a variety of skills in political campaigning. These will include:

• Leaflet production and artwork
• Database management
• Electronic campaigning
• How to produce eye-catching literature
• Communicating with the electorate

Other roles will also include:

• Clerical work in a political office
• Potential for doorstep campaigning, if desired
• Assisting the fundraising team
• Operating the in-house printing equipment

Any experience in the above would be considered desirable, but not essential. Applicants need not be party members, but must be able to show a level of support for or sympathy with the aims and success of the Liberal Democrats.

Interview/Start Dates

Interviews will be arranged on an ad hoc basis with individual applicants.

Ideally the succesful applicant will be able to start in early November.

We reserve the right to appoint before the closing date if a suitable applicant comes forward.
