An exciting opportunity has arisen in The Labour Party for a Deputy Director of Communications. Reporting to the Executive Director Communications, you will take a leading role in directing and shaping our daily media output.

With a proven track record of working in a time pressured environment, the successful applicant will have ability to manage competing deadlines, be highly adaptable, quick thinking, resilient and have a ‘can do’ mentality.

You will need to demonstrate high level experience of leading a national communication strategy delivered across a variety of media channels and have a track record of writing newspaper and on-line articles and in delivering tangible outcomes on time and to budget. Budget and people management experience is essential.
