We are currently looking to fill two full-time positions within the Office of the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).
- We are looking for a Casework Officer to manage and co-ordinate a professional and comprehensive response to complaints, issues and other correspondence from members of the public addressed to the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC). They will liaise as necessary, with the complainant and Executive Support or Kent Police's Professional Standards Department, to ensure that all complaints are promptly, fairly and impartially dealt with in compliance with statutory requirements and time limits and, where appropriate, using complaint information to improve service standards.
This is a full-time, permanant role.
- We are also looking for a Communications Manager to manage and promote communications and public engagement on behalf of the OPCC. They will manage the reputation and professional image of the PCC, acting as the lead within the office for all communications and engagement activities, providing expert advice whilst adhering to relevant legislation and advising the PCC as their representative in a public relations capacity.
This is a full-time role, on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Both roles require a level of vetting, and background checks. They are also politically restricted
